Faridabad Fighters Appoint Om Parkash Narwal as Head Coach for KCL Season 2

Faridabad Fighters have named Om Parkash Narwal as their head coach for Season 2 of the Kabaddi Champions League (KCL). The appointment gives the franchise fresh leadership as it prepares for a bigger, more competitive season, with the aim of turning its raw talent into steady results on the mat.

A New Leader for the Fighters

Faridabad Fighters enter Season 2 with Om Parkash Narwal taking charge of the squad. The franchise has already shown the quality of talent it can produce, with Jaideep Dahiya selected in the India squad for the Asian Games 2026, where India’s men won gold. Rohit Gulia’s raiding and Yogesh Dahiya’s defensive consistency in Season 1 also gave the team real strengths to build on. Om Parkash Narwal now has the job of organising that talent into a more consistent, results-driven unit.

Building on a Foundation of Talent

The Fighters’ debut campaign showed both promise and areas for improvement, which makes a new head coach a natural step in the franchise’s development. A fresh tactical approach could help sharpen both attack and defence, and the squad’s mix of national-level experience and emerging players gives the new head coach plenty to work with. With the Season 2 auction approaching, his input will be central to deciding which players the Fighters target to complement their existing core.

A Competitive Season Ahead

The new season brings a tougher test, with Jind Jaguars and Kurukshetra Knights joining the league alongside established sides including Bhiwani Bulls, Rohtak Royals, Karnal Kings, Gurugram Gurus, Sonipat Stars, Panipat Panthers, and Hisar Heroes. With ten franchises competing, strong coaching will be a deciding factor in who rises to the top.

What It Means for Fighters Fans

For Faridabad’s supporters, the appointment signals the franchise’s ambition for Season 2. A new head coach brings fresh ideas and renewed energy, and fans will be eager to see how the Fighters approach the auction and the new campaign.
