Jhajjar Jaguars Appoint Ramesh Kumar as First Head Coach for KCL Season 2

Jhajjar Jaguars have named Ramesh Kumar as their first head coach ahead of their debut in Season 2 of the Kabaddi Champions League (KCL). The appointment gives the new franchise a leader at the very start of its journey, as the team prepares to join a league that has expanded to ten teams.

The First Voice in a New Franchise

For a team that has never played a match, the first head coach carries a special responsibility. Ramesh Kumar will help shape the playing style, culture, and standards of Jhajjar Jaguars from day one. He joins a franchise that entered the league as one of two new teams alongside Kurukshetra Knights, bringing fresh rivalries and a new fan base to the competition. Building an identity from nothing is a different challenge from improving an established side, and it gives the coach a rare chance to define what the Jaguars stand for.

A Squad to Be Built from the Ground Up

With trials complete and the Season 2 auction approaching, Jhajjar Jaguars will soon begin assembling their first squad. The head coach’s input will be central to that process, from deciding which raiders and defenders to target to balancing experience with young talent identified in the recent trials. The Jaguars can draw on a large pool of players from across Haryana, who attended the trials in Rohtak and Sonipat in strong numbers, and Ramesh Kumar will help choose the group that carries the franchise’s name onto the mat.

Joining a Competitive League

Jhajjar Jaguars will face established teams that already have a full season of experience, including Rohtak Royals, the reigning champions, and Bhiwani Bulls, the runners-up. They will also meet Karnal Kings, Gurugram Gurus, Sonipat Stars, Panipat Panthers, Faridabad Fighters, Hisar Heroes, and fellow newcomers Kurukshetra Knights. Strong coaching will be vital for a debut team hoping to compete from the start.

What It Means for Jhajjar Fans

For supporters in Jhajjar, the appointment is the next step in bringing a KCL team to life. With a head coach in place, the franchise can move on to the auction, the squad, and the first fixtures that will turn the new name into a team on the mat.
