Vishwas Chauhan to Host Kabaddi Champions League (KCL) Season 2 Auction

The Kabaddi Champions League (KCL) has announced Vishwas Chauhan as the host of its Season 2 auction, which takes place on October 17, 2026, from 10:30 AM onwards. The announcement adds a familiar face to the biggest day on the league’s calendar, with the event set to be broadcast live to fans across the country.

The Voice of Auction Day

The host plays a central role in an auction, guiding viewers through each player’s entry, keeping the pace of the bidding, and helping fans follow what is happening in the room. With ten franchises bidding, Vishwas Chauhan will help turn a long and complex day into a clear and exciting viewing experience, whether fans are following every bid closely or dipping in and out throughout the day.

A Record Auction Pool

This year’s auction is the biggest in KCL’s short history. The league’s central trials in Sonipat and Rohtak drew more than 6,000 registrations, and over 300 players are expected to go under the hammer. The pool is expected to include Asian Games gold medallists and members of India’s national team, which makes bidding even more competitive. Each franchise will bid within the Season 2 purse of ₹5 crore, an increase from the ₹4 crore used in Season 1.

Ten Franchises in the Room

All ten franchises will take part: Bhiwani Bulls, Rohtak Royals, Karnal Kings, Gurugram Gurus, Sonipat Stars, Panipat Panthers, Faridabad Fighters, Hisar Heroes, Kurukshetra Knights, and Jhajjar Jaguars. Several teams have already retained key players and named head coaches, so the auction is where they fill the remaining places and finalise their squads for the new season.

How to Watch

Fans can follow the auction live from 10:30 AM on October 17 on the Kabaddi Champions League YouTube channel, Waves OTT, and ZEE5. With three platforms carrying the event, viewers can watch on whichever device suits them best.
